Nominate your favourite veggie companies - March 2, 2005
The Vegetarian Society is looking for nominations for its annual food and lifestyle awards which will take place later this year. The categories include: Best Range of Vegetarian Soup; Best 100% Vegetarian Box of Chocolates; Best Meat or Fish Substitute; Best Retailer for Vegetarian Ready Meals and Best Vegetarian Bistro or Café. The popular Imperfect World Award for the product that could be vegetarian with slight changes is also making a reappearance.
2005 will be the fifth birthday for the awards and the Society has plans to make it the biggest yet. Last year’s winners included Baby Organix, vegetarian caterer V1 in Nottingham and Brighton took the award for Best UK Destination for Vegetarians.
