Christian Aid Partly to Blame For Carbon mess
Animal Aid: As charity launches climate change rallies... Christian Aid plan exposed
With some livestock losses in Africa running at nearly 93% not only is money to Christian Aid to 'send a cow' a waste of money - it actually exasperates the situation and makes things worse. Cattle all have to eat and drink too putting a tremendous strain on limited resources.
Animal Aid Director Andrew Tyler says:
‘Christian Aid’s emotive advertising has featured photographs of dead, bloated goats in barren landscapes. Cattle losses in regions such as Northern Kenya are as high as 93%. Yet Christian Aid encourages the public to give money so that more animals can be provided for communities that cannot support them. The number of hoofed animals in sub-Saharan Africa increased from around 275 million in 1961 to more than 655 million by 2005. In that same period, the levels of poverty and environmental destruction increased alarmingly. By providing more animals, Christian Aid will produce more human misery, more land degradation and ensure that more animals will die from starvation, thirst and exhaustion.’

£119m Spent on Vegan Food for Children Fails
Healthy Eating , Nutrition and Health News - Children
£119 million pounds spent by the NHS on trying to get school children to eat more vegan foods has failed to counteract the billions of pounds spent by snack food manufacturers advertising unhealthy foods to children.
Fruit and Vegetables just aren't cool enough in the brain-washed minds of UK children.

Neil Lea : A Sad Loss
Neil Lea : from Veggies / Sumac Diary
Neil Lea of Real Food / ARC news / Vegan Buddies died this week after a long illness that he refused to allow to stem the tidal wave of his campaigning.
Neil Lea was an incredible and inspiring individual who despite his restrictive health conditions did the work of at least 10 normal vegans.
Creative, inspirational, enthusiatic and dedicated to the end, his achievements were awesome and his obsessive positivity humbling.
Our wishes and thoughts go to Mary and Seamus and Neil's many friends and fellow vegan animal rights activists.

Vegan Superfoods Will Be a Secret!
Healthy Eating , Nutrition and Health News
The European Parliament seems to have finally lost it's grip on reality. Millions of people die each year from reactions to drugs. What's the EU up to ? banning Vegan Superfoods! It's now apparently forbidden to call a vegan superfood a superfood.
Utter, utter, utter utter UTTER madness! They should be trying to find ways to get people to eat more brocolli and hempseeds but what? No, instead trying to protect us from SPINACH!
